Sportswomen Miesha Tate

 

Miesha Theresa Tate ( born August 18, 1986) is an American professional mixed martial artist. She is a competitor in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), and is a former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate has previously been a competitor in Strikeforce and was the Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was also vice president of ONE Championship. She is currently ranked 10th in the UFC women's bantamweight ranking as of October 3, 2022.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tate was born to Michelle Tate in Tacoma (Seattle), Washington. She was raised by Robert Schmidt and Michelle. As a young tomboy, Tate often hung out with her fellow boys from her community at the playgrounds.
